Lilacs don't last very long inside, but I can't keep myself from cutting them every few days and bringing them in. They just about fill the room with their scent.
And did I mention that our big girl had her kindergarten graduation? Yep.
Congrats Adeline! And yes, lilacs...yours are stunning!...and iris, which I cut before the no-water-typhoon hit yesterday (toppled our anniversary clematis, but I think it's okay) and which does not like being a cut flower but ah well, it just has to deal. I like my beauty IN and OUT. Aw yeah. -msh
