YES! This provided a bit more (specific) illumination. I loved this: "Marketers spend billions of dollars identifying common biochemical events, and then they launch products and services with stories that align with those events." And to think there are millions of people out there completely ignorant of their own biochemical processes--it's far easier to belly up to the bar! HEre's a tidbit I just learned: one cannot be anxious and relaxed at the same time. It's physiologically impossible. And so I wonder: can one be a (typically American) consumer AND attain innner peace? When will we stop filling our psychic holes with "things"? I fear these "things" have morphed into kids and pets, too...not always, but I've seen it...something to love, something that will love us back, no matter how crappy we feel about ourselves.
